EASTLAKE HIGH SCHOOL SHOW CHOIR
Chula Vista, CA
EASY, HEALTHY and PROFITABLE FUNDRAISER
When the choir at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, CA, needed funds to travel to bright lights of Tinseltown, they found RightResponse was music to their ears.
The show choir had to raise funds quickly to pay for buses to take them to a choir competition in Los Angeles. The worry about where to get the money was creating sour notes for many in the choir.
That’s when they found RightResponse. Choir members and their parents loved the harmony of selling healthy, responsible first aid kits.
The 50% profit on every kit they sold also was noteworthy, allowing the choir to raise funds more quickly compared to other fundraising products.
In a short time, the choir sold $3,154 in RightResponse first aid kits and made $1,577 in profits – enough to pay for two buses.
The choir director sang praise for RightResponse, noting it was perfectly in tune for their fundraiser.

K.L. CARVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
San Marino, CA
EASY, HEALTHY and PROFITABLE FUNDRAISER
Combine two parent volunteers who did their homework with an inspired student body and you get a fundraiser that earns straight A’s!
When parent volunteers Tami McGovern and Kathy Osequeda sought a new fundraiser for their school, they thought RightResponse might be a good choice. But to be sure, the parents contacted other schools who had used RightResponse and liked what they heard.
Working closely with their Fundraising Specialist, the parents and teachers got students fired up to sell, offereing prizes and other fun incentives. Some teachers inspired students by offering a “no homework” day for the top seling classes.
In a few short weeks, the fundraiser creested at an amazing $45,400 in sales, with 320 kids selling at least one kit. The $22,500 raised will pay for music and art programs at the school, as well as part of the salary for a librarian and a computer lab staff member.
“Parents were tired of selling the same products year after year and wanted something new, “said Tami McGovern. “They loved first aid! You can never have too much first aid.”

WOODWARD-GRANGER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Granger, IA
EASY, HEALTHY and PROFITABLE FUNDRAISER
Woodward-Granger Elementary wanted to buy a kiln for the school’s art department. The kiln was intended to enhance student learning, so everyone wanted to find a way to buy it.
Instead of picking the old, standby fundraisers, the school’s PTO thought RightResponse would be a nice change of pace.
Little did they know how much of a change. Settling a modest goal of raising $4,000, students began selling. Before long, they shattered that goal as sales climbed to $15,000!
In all, students raised nearly $7,300 – more than enough to buy the kiln. The extra funds went into the school’s PTO fund for other projects.
While the first aid kits inspired sales, students had an ulterior motive for getting orders – all students selling more than $100 could participate in a “human car wash.”
A total of 53 students hit the $100 mark. Each got to dowse the principal and art teacher with buckets of water as they came by.
Thanks to RightResponse, the school made a big splash in having fun and raising money to make the event one of the school’s most successful fundraisers!

MODEL UNITED NATIONS CLUB
Mission Viejo, CA
EASY, HEALTHY and PROFITABLE FUNDRAISER
Tight budgets have taken a toll on worthwhile school programs. Mission Viejo High School students took on that challenge by raising money for their Model United Nations program with the help of RightResponse.
Students in the program hoped to attend a national conference in San Francisco where they could learn about diplomacy and international affairs, but the school could not pay for travel and lodging costs.
Enter RightResponse. Students grabbed Quick Sell Backpacks and asked the community to support their efforts. And the community responded by purchasing more than $20,000 in first aid kits.
In all, the fundraiser brought in $10,000, allowing Mission Viejo students to join others from across the country at the Regional High School Model United Nations Conference in San Francisco.
RightResponse gained a vote of confidence from students and school officials alike. In fact, the club earned more money by referring another local school to RightResponse.
